For those who crochet or who are interested in crocheting, the shawl similar to the baby blanket are one of the most popular crochet projects and requested items. Most people who do the craft of either knitting or crocheting are well accustomed to those who know you do, asking for a special project.

While we must confess the making of the V Shawl was completely for ourselves and no-one else. While making the V Shawl we used some simple and basic crochet stitches, which is a perfect way for the beginning crocheter to become familiar with the abbreviations used in crocheting.

We began the V Shawl pattern with a few hanks of yarn like most projects. While we used another brand of yarn, however one can easily use the suggested cascade yarn for the V Shawl. We crocheted two pieces and seamed them together with a basic crochet stitch to finish the project. Check back for this pattern and in the mean time try our Sand & Seashell Sand Baby Blanket pattern crocheted with Cascade Yarns Pima Cotton and Merino Wool yarns (textiles).

Which pattern will you choose? Do you knit? Do you crochet? For how long?
