Being home bound has left many of us, well, a little stir crazy. With all this free time, it has become time to find your creative outlet.
At the on set of the #corona #virus my student and I were in the middle of a workshop series. We were both eager to continue but as information about the corona virus was coming out and #social #distancing was becoming the norm we both wanted to take the suggested precautions. I think we have all been caught off guard by the corona virus and in some cases left scrambling for what to do. As information became prevalent and information began to replace fear, we made the educated decision to go Virtual with our workshops. Our workshop and class room locations/hosts and Shidonna Raven have long been in talks about having a #Virtual #workshop and #classroom. So when corona came we were well prepared to begin. My student, having been advised to stay at home like the rest of us, was eager to use the skills she learned in the workshop as a creative outlet for her time at home. We both begin to make use of the video conferencing platform not only to hold workshops and classes but to stay connected to family and friends during a time when many of us are home bound and have not seen many of our family, friends, co workers and associates in a while. We encourage you to #stay #healthy and #safe during these times. You too can find your creative outlet while you spend more free time at home. Not to mention you can find new ways to #stay #connected to #family and #friends by making use of #video #conferencing services such as #google #hangouts and #zoom.
