The one thing knitters and crocheters do and do well is knit and crochet for a cause. Consider donating to the Franciscan Center for the Holidays. Help Make winter a little warmer for our brothers and sisters in need! Click Here to Find out What we Need

As the days grow colder and the holidays approach, the Franciscan Center is reaching out to our friends in the community to help us provide warm clothing, toiletries, and other essential items to the men, women, and children who come to our door seeking help.

Your faith community, school, office or family can make an important difference in our community in the days ahead by collecting warm coats, hats, scarves, gloves, socks and other critical items for the Franciscan Center.

Our Holiday Giving Tree Project supplies essential winter clothing such as hats, coats, scarves, mittens, thermal underwear and socks, as well as personal toiletry items to those in need. Items for children and babies such as diapers, baby food and formula, small jackets, mittens, and knitted hats are in especially short supply. We ask that you collect new, unwrapped items for the men, women, and children whom we serve at the Franciscan Center, which we will distribute throughout the holiday season and into the coldest months this winter.

Items can be dropped off between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Franciscan Center, 101 W. 23rd Street, Baltimore, MD 21218. If you would like to help, please contact Angela Hall, Director of Outreach at (410) 467-5340, Ext. 113 or ahall@fcbmore.org
