For knitters almost any excuse to break out the needles will due. This time, we did a Knit In at Fabric Hut with some of their lushes yarns and tools to showcase samples of what students make in class at Fabric Hut.
Knit In @ Fabric Hut - Norfolk, VA
We had an absolute blast at Fabric Hut in Norfolk, VA (fabrichut.com). As most knitters will tell you almost any excuse to break out their needles and knit will work. Well, in this instance we were knitting up samples of what students make in the Knitting Classes at Fabric Hut. Many people stopped in and had many wonderful questions about knitting and Fabric Hut. There was even someone in town all the way from my old stumping grounds: California.
As you can see below, students learn about the importance of gauge, which they make (the gauge) into a hair bow. As many knitters will tell you, once you have the knitting bug you get a fever to knit. Once students learn the basics in knitting class, the projects they can make are endless and once they reach the end they can just build their skill knowledge.
